The A100 was launched in late 1994 and the E version a year later. At this point in Mitsubishi history, the A series was actually the fan and pump drive, it featured a black LED text display and was Mitsubishi gray in color. The E version offered a carrier frequency of 0.7kHz. This model was replaced by F500.
